Dr. Robert Zimmerman,MD,Medical Director
Dr.
Rob Zimmerman MD, FACEP is a board certified Emergency
Medicine Physician, Medical Director of the Emergency
Department and EMS Medical Director at Geauga Regional
Hospital. He was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Rob
attended medical and graduate school at the University of
Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed his
Emergency Medicine Residency at MetroHealth Medical Center and
the Cleveland Clinic in 1999. After completing his residency
he worked at a trauma center outside Atlanta, Georgia before
returning to Ohio to be closer to family.
Rob
is married to his long time high school friend, Nancy. They
are blessed with three sons; four and a half year old twins
and a two year old. Rob enjoys working with EMS in the
community and feels right at home at Geauga Regional Hospital.
Dr. Kurt Kundtz, MD
Dr. Kundtz was raised in Cleveland, Ohio. In 1976 he
received his Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature from
Stanford University. After traveling and pursuing various
activities, he chose to enter medical school. Dr. Kundtz
received his Medical Degree in 1989 from Case Western Reserve
University. He then spent three years at the old Mount Sinai
Hospital and became Board Certified. Emergency Medicine has
offered him time to be at home with his family as well as
focus on his vocation of furniture building. He currently
resides in Chesterland with his wife and two teenage sons. On
his days off, he can be found covered in dust in his woodshop.
Dr. Sonja Stiller, MD
Dr. Stiller was raised in Maine and
Pennsylvania. She earned her Medical Degree from the Medical
College of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia in 1995. She is
Board Certified in Emergency Medicine having completed her
residency training in Emergency Medicine in 1998 in
Philadelphia. She has lived in Northeast Ohio since 1998 with
her husband, Jim, and three daughters. She joined Geauga
Regional’s medical staff in July 2004 and has enjoyed living
and working in this community. When not at the hospital, she
and her family enjoy being outdoors – participating in many
activities including hiking, skiing, and camping.
Ray Wawrowski, MS, PA-C
Ray Wawrowski, PA-C has a combined 28
years of Emergency Medicine experience. The past 10 years as a
physician assistant, Ray worked in several Lake and Ashtabula
County communities as an EMT then as a Paramedic. He now
enjoys his fifth year at Geauga Regional Hospital. Ray is
currently working on a doctoral degree and is involved with
EMS training. He has five children, and his hobbies include
model railroading and working on the never ending Honey-Do
list that his wife continually adds tasks to.
